  • BayesMH *and mutlinomial regression

I am interested in conducting a bayesian multinomial regression (with a three level outcome) - I have found that BayesMH will allow me to do a logistic regression but I cannot find an option to run a multinomial regression model here. Any advice much appreciated.

You may start by checking the - help bayes - information. That said - bayes: mlogit - is the starting point.
    Best regards,

Thanks for your response. I found the help for bayes: mlogit but this does not seem to be available within STATA (e.g. command not recognised and cannot locate with "findit")- I wonder if this is a new development in version 15 (I have V.14)?

https://www.stata.com/help.cgi?whatsnew14to15 is accessible to anyone who can read this. What's new in 15 is the bayes: prefix command.

Only in #3 did you mention the Stata version you’re using. I assumed you’re using Stata 15.1, as underlined in the FAQ advice.
          Best regards,
